Saturday, Feb 23rd

As far as updated info goes, we don't have much. But, we do have a few pictures we wanted to share. Addison started smiling this week, and she smiles most first thing in the morning. Amazing what a good night's sleep will do for you. I'm sure we will know what that's like again someday. Enjoy the pictures!

We are having a great time getting to know Addison. Here are a few things we know about her so far:

She knows what she wants when she wants it.

She doesn't like waking up, but is happy once she does.

She does "facial calisthenics" while she sleeps.

She likes being naked.

She has a beautiful smile.
She is ticklish.

She loves bathtime.

She's laid back.

She doesn't want to miss anything.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Yesterday, Addison turned 2 months old. To ring in the occasion with style, we took her to the doctor where she received all of her shots, which she absolutely loved. We found out that she is in the 90th percentile for height and 60th percentile in weight. Sooner Start also came to visit and will be visiting us once a month to help out with Addison. They made us feel pretty good about ourselves because all of their suggestions of things that we need to be doing to help Addison, we were already doing. So that's encouraging. Last weekend, we were in Waco, and the entire Jumper side of the family was able to meet Addison, some for the first time. We had a wonderful time while we were there, so we posted a couple of pictures of our visit. We've also included Addison's 2 month picture with the bear for comparison so you can see how much she's grown.

On Friday, we are starting to interview nannies to help take care of Addison while Rach goes back to work. Please be praying that we find the right nanny, who we feel comfortable with, and who will take care of and protect Addison while we are away. I can't recall ever really being scared of anything in my life, but I am truly scared about handing over the care of my daughter to a stranger. I can't really imagine why. I mean, it's not like I'm handing my heart over to a stranger and asking them to keep it beating or anything. If you know of anyone in Tulsa who might be able to handle this monumental task, please let us know. Enjoy the pics!
